Long Stem Fairy Garden mushrooms set of 4 can normally be found very near to fairy homes and fairy doors in clumps of Four. They can be found in a variety of colours but the most common ,and the most loved by all fairy folk, appear to be the local red with white spots.
Fairies are very mysterious and secretive folk and so the extensive research in to finding out why these mushrooms are found only where very happy fairies live or get together, has come up empty. We are not sure if these mushrooms are a food source for our mysterious woodland fairy folk, if they use them as shelter on a hot day from the suns rays or on a rainy day from the droplets that fall from the sky or they just plant the mushrooms to make their gardens look more attractive. Only these mysterious folk know the answer to this question.
One thing is for sure - wherever you find these mushrooms, fairies are definitely not too far away.
Our fairy mushrooms are carefully cultivated and sold in batches ready to make any fairy garden attractive to passing fairies looking for somewhere to settle.
Here at Good to be Outdoors we sell two varieties of mushroom - both very popular with our local fairies.
The talller long stem forest mushrooms which come in clumps of four
the dumpier, more common woodland garden mushroom which come in batches of three.
Both are carefully and individually hand crafted and hand painted making each one very unique - no two are ever the same. All work is carried out under strict instruction and guidance from resident fairies.
